EB-5 Extended Through September 2020!

Published on 12/23/2019

Hello I’m Vaughan de Kirby, Investment Immigration Attorney based here in San Francisco. It’s been a while since I taped a presentation to you. And the reason for that is I was waiting for something to happen. We had great hopes that Congress would pass a new extended and refined version of EB-5, but it didn’t happen.

As you do know, the investment amount has been raised to $900,000. However, underneath that are a lot of different regulations, so if EB-5 is something that you wish to pursue, make certain that you’re working with a qualified Investment Immigration Attorney, and preferably also a securities advisor, because there have been changes.

If you’re from a country that is not experiencing retrogression, now may be a very good time to move forward, because the investment amount is $900,000. If the new legislation passes, it will be $1 million dollars, so it will be rising by $100,000. However, if you’re in a country that is experiencing retrogression, there is hope that the new legislation will provide possibilities for you to avoid retrogression.

Again this is a very difficult time to make decisions. I recommend you work very closely with your Investment Immigration Attorney and your Securities Advisor.

Lastly I want to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season. May 2020 be a fine and healthy year for you and your family. Thank you!

Please feel free to contact us or call 415-221-2345 if you have any EB-5 related questions.
